Backstage with VNV Nation!

Just one of the many perks of working at Hot Topic are the bands and artist that come into our store.  Several months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible guys of VNV Nation during an in-store event.  One on my favorite Electro-goth bands….it was surreal.  As if hanging out with them and getting autographs was not enough to excite me, I ended up on thierGuest List for their show at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan.  They took the stage and blew my mind (of course….duh…f*cking VNV!).  Afterwards, I hung out backstage with them and they were beyond the most down-to-earth, fun and halarious artist I have ever met….and I have been a lucky girl to hang out with many bands.  I add them to my roster now.  While talking, I brought up the fact that I am the lead-singer of Razorblade Twins.  Ears were perked and interesrt was peaked.  Ronan told me that he wants to hear our stuff.  I was beyond exstatic.  We keep in touch still and I can not wait to let him hear what we are made of.  The sheer honor to see them live, nevertheless, hanging out with them was immense.  Another day that I shall never forget.
